🗨️ augustwenty is a custom software development consultancy with a mission to see to the heart of each client's greatest challenges and build solutions with speed and precision. With world-class consultants and software engineers, our teams immerse themselves within our clients' businesses to gain a full understanding so they can develop solutions of value from the moment they arrive. Our approach is to take a project from start to finish: listening, ideation, design, development, and delivery—all along building the right thing, the right way, and at the right time!
❓Share your business story. How did it come to fruition?
🗨️ augustwenty was founded by a husband-and-wife team that previously worked for a private IT consulting company. Angela was previously the CFO and DJ was a business and IT consultant with decades of tech experience. When the company was purchased by a worldwide conglomerate consulting company, it didn't take long for this couple to realize the business need within the Columbus area for a smaller, boutique-style custom software development consultancy.
❓What advice would you give to other business owners?
🗨️Believe in yourself and the product or service you have to offer. Just plan to be the best in what you do and your reputation will precede itself. We aren't out to be a $100 million company, but want to create something very special where our employees know they are a part of what we are building. And, most importantly, establish and abide by some fundamental core values: INTEGRITY, DIGNITY, QUALITY, and TRANSPARENCY
❓Why did you choose Hilliard?
🗨️ augustwenty chose to grow in Hilliard, Ohio, based upon a multi-state corporate site location analysis provided by the Montrose Group, LLC, who negotiated a workforce development grant agreement from JobsOhio. Montrose Group, LLC, is a national economic development consulting firm that worked closely from the beginning with augustwenty to advise the company on which region best serves its current and future growth plans. Hilliard continues to be a thriving, integral area contributing to the continued expansion of Central Ohio.
